Terms of Service

By using TravelPad (travelpad.travel), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

TravelPad is a road-trip planning tool. Routes, times, weather, and stop suggestions are estimates. Always follow traffic laws, road conditions, and official guidance. We are not responsible for travel decisions you make.

Stop suggestions, descriptions, Explore ideas and Scout answers are generated with AI and may be wrong or out of date. Check opening hours, road conditions, closures and safety yourself before you go.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use TravelPad.
• You must provide accurate signup information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the product, spam, or harm other users.

Acceptable use

Do not upload illegal content, harass others, scrape or overload our APIs, attempt to break security, or use TravelPad to violate the law. Convoy posts and tips must be respectful and truthful to the best of your knowledge.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not post, message or share content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, spam, or that infringes others' rights, and you may not abuse other people. You can report any post, comment, message or profile from its ⋯ menu, and you can block anyone. We review reports, and within 24 hours we remove objectionable content and may suspend or remove the accounts of people who post it.

Subscriptions

TravelPad Pro bought on travelpad.travel is billed through Stripe under the plan you select. Free-tier limits may change. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated at checkout.

TravelPad Pro in the iOS and Android apps. You can buy TravelPad Pro inside the TravelPad app through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Those purchases are processed and billed by Apple or Google, not by TravelPad, under their terms.

• Plans and price. Pro is available monthly or yearly. The price, including taxes, is shown in the app before you confirm, in your local currency.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account or Google account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your device's subscription settings (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions). Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your TravelPad account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google.
• Refunds. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• One subscription per account. If you already have Pro through travelpad.travel, the app shows your status instead of selling it again.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create (drives, posts, photos). You grant TravelPad a license to host, display, and process that content so the product can work—including when you share a public link or post to Convoy.

Third-party services

Maps, places, AI suggestions, payments, and email rely on third parties (for example Google, OpenAI, Stripe). Their terms and privacy policies also apply to those features.

Apple

If you use TravelPad on an Apple device, these Terms are between you and TravelPad, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent any warranty applies and the app fails to conform to it, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims) or for investigating or settling intellectual-property claims. You represent that you aren't located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Disclaimer

TravelPad is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect routing, or error-free AI suggestions. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TravelPad and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from travel, navigation, or reliance on suggestions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them. The date at the top will be updated when terms change.
