Delete your TravelPad account
You can delete your account and its data yourself, at any time, in the app or on the web. You don't need to contact us.
In the app
Open TravelPad, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account, and follow the steps. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm it's you.
On the web
Log in, open Account settings, choose Delete account and type your email to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account, email address, name, tag, password and interests.
- Your drives and their stops, your trips (with their days and notes) and your shared drive links.
- Your Convoy posts and their photos, your comments, likes and saves.
- Your check-ins, the community tips you wrote and your helpful votes.
- Your follows, blocks, direct messages and notifications.
- Your app sign-ins and push notification registrations.
What other people notice
- Conversations with you disappear for the other person too.
- Trips you owned are removed, including for people you planned them with.
- Drives other travelers saved from your Convoy posts stay in their accounts, credited to “a deleted traveler”.
Subscriptions
- Subscribed on travelpad.travel: your subscription is canceled automatically when you delete your account.
- Subscribed in the iPhone or iPad app: Apple bills you, so deleting your account doesn't cancel it. Cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Subscribed in the Android app: Google bills you. Cancel it in the Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
How long it takes
Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days (usually within minutes). Database backups that may still contain it expire within 30 days. We keep minimal billing records (purchase dates and amounts, without your name or email) where tax and accounting law requires it.
Can't log in?
Reset your password from the log in page first. If that doesn't work, email privacy@travelpad.travel from the address on your account and we'll verify it's you and delete the account for you.
